Heating Systems
  1. Check, adjust and clean blower components
  2. Check and adjust air flow for accurate temperature rise
  3. Check and replace standard air filters
  4. Check thermostat
  5. Lubricate moving parts (when necessary)
  6. Check heat exchangers
  7. Check high limit and other safety controls
  8. Check for flue obstructions
  9. Check fan control
  10. Check all electrical connections
  11. Check belts for cracks and wear
  12. Check manifold gas pressure and combustion air openings (if necessary)
  13. Check burner operation, clean if necessary
  14. Check thermocouple, replace if necessary
  15. Clean and adjust pilot, as necessary
  16. Check gas line for leaks from furnace shut off valves to the burners


Air Conditioning System
  1. Clean and straighten condenser coil fins, if necessary
  2. Inspect and clean evaporator coil and blower wheels, if necessary
  3. Check refrigerant charge
  4. Check and replace standard air filters
  5. Check belts for cracks and wear
  6. Lubricate moving parts (when necessary)
  7. Check thermostat calibration
  8. Check safety controls
  9. Motors will be cleaned and inspected
  10. Capacitors, relays and contractors will be tested
  11. Condensate drain will be checked to assure it is open
  12. Crankcase heater will be operationally checked
  13. Unit disconnect and wiring will be inspected
  14. Temperature and pressures will be taken and recorded
  15. Defrost timer, reversing valve and auxiliary heat will be checked (heat pumps)
